Domestically Speaking 2014 Fall Home Tour
Happy Friday Friends and welcome to any newbies that might be visiting from the Festival of Fall blog hop. I’m so glad you’re here! Fall is my favorite time of year… LOVE everything about it… so I always LOVE getting to pull out the fall décor and I’m thrilled to be able to share my home with you guys today.
I’ve got to confess… even though Fall is my favorite season it’s hard to break out the Fall decor when we are still in the 90’s, but cooler weather is coming! So grab a cup of coffee, tea and whatever you prefer and let me show you around.
Welcome! We have a small front porch, but just enough space for some beautiful mums and a pumpkin.
I made this Pottery Barn inspired wreath years ago and I still love it. Our front door is getting a makeover soon so be watching. (You can see my sample on the bottom left).
In our entry way I have an antique dresser that we scored at a storage auction. She’s loaded with some pumpkins and squashes.
Also I have my Burlap Autumn Pumpkin Sign sitting pretty there too.
In our family room I love this new pillow. It has some beautiful fall colors while matching beautifully with the decor.
The beautiful blue throw is one of my favorite accessories in our family room.
This year I decide to go with oranges, bronze, browns and whites for my fall mantel. The last couple years have been mostly neutral… so I’m loving the colors.
I spray painted some pine cones with some metallic bronze, adding some bling to the mantel.
Lots of little white boo pumpkins and orange ones too. The grapevine pumpkins fit perfectly in this years theme too.
I’ll be sharing a post next week all about my fall mantel.
In my kitchen I’ve filled my nesting boxes with Indian corn and little pumpkins.
Some fresh flowers always add some gorgeous fall color to a room.
One of my favorite new additions to my fall decor is in our dining nook.
I love this custom burlap runner I made. I’ll have the full tutorial next week.
Simple white plates layered with leaf plates and little white boo pumpkins make a casual dining space.
I hope you guys enjoyed seeing our homes and I am so glad I was able to be a part of this great Fall Blog Hop. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!
I would love for you to visit each of the other blogs who are participating with me
in the Festival of Fall, hosted by The Everyday Home blog and Barb Garrett.
Each day will be a different theme, and I am sure you will
love seeing all the great projects presented each day –
so please come back and see what’s new.
