Happy Tuesday Friends!!! I’ve shared with you guys that I’m partnering with Home Depot this year with their workshops. Well this Saturday many of the Home Depot’s in the drought affected areas (like us here in So. Cal) will be hosting Drought DIY Workshops.
We’re all daily hearing in the news how bad the drought situation is, yet we all want to have beautifully landscaped yards… so what’s the solution???
The Drought DIY Workshop will help answer that question!
The Drought DIY Workshop will take place at the following area Home Depot stores on Saturday, April 25 from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m: Albuquerque, NM; Amarillo, TX; Austin, TX; Bakersfield, CA; Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX, El Paso, TX; Fresno, CA; Inland Empire, CA; Houston, TX; Las Vegas, NV; Los Angeles, CA; Midland / Odessa, TX; Palm Springs, CA; Phoenix, AZ; Reno, NV; Roswell, NM; Sacramento, CA; San Antonio, TX; San Diego, CA; San Francisco/San Jose, CA and Tucson, AZ.
If you live in one of these areas you know how important creating zero/low maintenance landscaping is. At the workshop you’ll learn some great tips like selecting water wise plants, drip irrigation and more!
So SIGN UP!!!
If you’re in the San Diego store I’ll be at the store at 4255 Genesee Ave. Hope you’ll come hang out with me and learn some great tips to help us all conserve water while still having beautiful outdoor spaces.
Don’t worry… if you don’t live in one of these areas your local Home Depot will still be having a great DIY Workshop for you… a Lawn and Garden Workshop. You can click the image above to sign up at your local store too.
For additional tips, The Home Depot’s Garden Club is always a great resource for low-water gardening tips.
Hope to see some of you at the Home Depot in San Diego this Saturday.

I am excited to meet you and partner with you for the workshop at my Home Depot this Saturday. Crafting and DIY projects have been a passion of mine for a long time, so I am quite a fan of yours. I have worked in the garden dept. of Home Depot for over 25 years and have been leading gardening and crafting workshops at Home Depot for many years. I hope that with your help, this”Drought Workshop” will be one of the most fun and informative workshops we have ever had! This is a terrific time to start teaching folks how to create a beautiful landscape that is also drought tolerant! We will also plant a succulent arrangement. I can’t wait!
Hi Christina! I can’t wait to meet you this Saturday!!!
