Looking Back at July 2012
Hi Friends… Hope you’re having a wonderful week. Can you believe it’s August already? I’m in denial that we are a week and a half away from school starting.
In case you missed something in July, here is a look back…
I start the month by using Oil Rubbed Bronze (ORB) spray paint to update a wicker chest.
With rope and a glue gun I created some nautical rope coasters.
I shared my chalkboard sewing table.
I shared some of my kiddo birthday party inspirations.
I shared the tutorial on how I made my “Family” sign.
I “tried a Pin” and found that I really could cut glass with yarn, nail polish remover and a match.
I shared my “Get My Day Started” Smoothie… love this drink.
I tried a “Pin” to get my burners clean.
I took an old garage sale candlestick and wrapped it with rope to give it a nautical update.
And I finished the month sharing how I updated a clock with acrylic paints to give it a worn shimmer’ization.
Can’t wait to see what happens in August!
OMG – I have been searching for coasters for weeks now. I have these green marble ones with cork in the center, and everytime you pick up your glass the coaster sticks to it, then falls off. And marble is heavy! I wanted something that fits in with my style more and these are perfect. I also have a clock in my bathroom that I want to do like yours. So glad I found this sight. Looking forward to being featured next week (but I have to give most of the credit to my daughter). Thanks for a very helpful blog!
