Rustic Christmas Mantel
This post is sponsored by Bindle & Brass Trading Company, but all opinions are my own. I’m so excited to be sharing with you my Rustic Christmas Mantel. I love how this year’s Christmas mantel came together. Lots of cinnamon scented pinecones and snowy details turns this Christmas mantel into a rustic, winter wonderland.
Rustic Christmas Mantel
The kind folks at Bindle and Brass Trading Company sent me a variety of their products to decorate with. The top of my mantel is filled with their Classic Cinnamon Pinecones. The scent is amazing as you come through the front door.
I created a couple snowy pinecones using the same method I did with my Snowy Pine Cone Cluster. I just love the sparkle that you get with that twinkly white on the pinecones.
Some small Christmas trees with their bases wrapped in burlap and a cute Christmas ribbon flank either side of the mantel.
In the center I have our furry, white stockings all hung in a row.
Rustic Snowy Branches
I think my favorite part of my Christmas mantel area is the Rustic Snowy Branches! I used Bindle & Brass’ brooms to create these. They sent me the most amazing scented brooms: Apple Splendor Broom, Pumpkin Spice Broom, and Classic Cinnamon Broom. I used one of each to create the snowy branches.
Here’s what I used to create the snowy branches:
- Bindle & Brass’ scent brooms in The Maxi and The Broom sizes
- white glue
- epsom salt
- sponge paint brush
I used a sponge paint brush to gently brush white glue onto the brooms. I did one broom at a time. Once the glue was applied I sprinkled the glued area with epsom salt, until the glue area was coated.
Repeat on each broom until you get the desired look you’re after.
On the Maxi brooms, I added some faux berries, which I adhered with a hot glue gun.
The results were beautiful. It gave a frosted, winter look to the amazing, scented brooms.
I placed the snowy brooms into a galvanized bucket to complete that rustic look. I just love how the Bindle & Brass products added that great, rustic look I wanted.
A big thanks again to Bindle & Brass for their help in creating this year’s mantel.
