3rd Countdown to Summer ~ Shell Pots

You know I adore shells.  There is something so relaxing about collecting shells at the beach.  This last week we got to the beach once.  It was cloudy and cool, so the kiddos played in the sand more than the water… so I got more shells!  So it was time to make some shell pots – which are perfect for adding a summer touch to your home!

I took some terra-cotta pots that I had in the garage, my newly collected shells and my trusty glue gun.

I love the look of a shell trim.

I’m working on summer’izing my mantle.  Just a few more details to finalize.

I put my larger pot out front on our paver patio.

Now I just need a cute plant for it.
