Coastal Summer Entryway

Thanks for Sharing!

It’s feeling like summer at our home and my Coastal Summer Entryway is definitely greeting me with summer every time I come home.  Our home has a touch of the beach throughout the year but I definitely break out more seashells during the summer months.

I’ll be sharing how I built this sawhorse entry table in a couple days and how to get this beachy finish.   I love blues and especially teal blues during the summer, so you can see touches of teal in my entryway.

I love this seahorse pillow I found on Amazon.  It’s part of a set of 4 sea creature pillows covers that are only $9.99 (affiliate links for your convenience}

The other 3 pillows are in our family room on the sectional couch.  Anyone else love pillow covers?  They are great for easily changing out your pillows with the seasons.  There’s a whole post on my favorite pillow covers that are under $5 – find it HERE!

Some driftwood and teal blue starfish are some simple nature inspired items that grace the left side of the table.

I filled the bottom of a large vase with some more driftwood and added a piece of coral from a trip to Hawaii last year and a pretty starfish to the right side.

You can find out how to make your own large sign in my post here.  I love how the entryway has come together for summer.  I think it just looks amazing with our new floors we put in about 6 months ago.  If you missed that post about our Pergo Outlast + floors you’ll want to check that out.  They were easy to install and you can check out my Install Pergo Outlast + post here.  I went with the Vintage Tabacco Oak and every morning when I come downstairs they make me smile – love the color!

We can’t forget the bottom shelf of the DIY console table.  A simple basket I found at the thrift store with a cozy teal blue blanket along with a nautical rope ball wrap up this Coastal Entryway.

I hope you enjoyed a peak inside our summer coastal entryway.

  1. I really like your coastal theme entryway. You have just the right amount of the teal color for a summer look. Simple yet stunning!
