Playing Hooky
Hey friends… I’ve got an update on my beadboard wall in the family room for you guys today. Adding hooks has been on the agenda and when I got the scoop from Cheri that Rockler had a bunch of hooks on sale… I did some online shopping.
I scored these beauties for 99 cents each! I bought 5 for this wall and even got free shipping… love!
I LOVE the added character it instantly adds to the wall!
Don’t you love easy updates!
Beautiful! LOVE those hooks…. I’m heading over to Rockler….
Woohoo! Nice score. I have some very similar to this in a green that just doesn’t work with my new spaces. You’ve inspired me to paint mine black. Thanks for sharing. By the way, I consider you one of the paint gurus here in blogland. -_* Could you please take a look at my post “Paint Dilemma” for a little table I have that is giving me the blues and see if you can think of an option for the top. The details are there in that post as well as the “Welcome Frugal Treasures Tuesday” post. Also, if any of you readers could look and leave a suggestion I would much appreciation. I really like this little $1 dollar gem and want to use in my new bedroom makeover. Thanks in advance for your time. : )
You get the bargain hunter prize for today! Looks great. ~ Maureen
Pretty, and creative! I really like those frames and things you have on the shelf … the twine wrapped one, and the circle one that I can’t quite tell what its made of, but looks cool 🙂 I like the overall effect.
Thanks Liz! The twine wrapped one can be found here: https://www.domestically-speaking.com/2012/02/family-shells.html I just wrapped twine around an old frame. The circle one is a bamboo sunburst mirror I made that you can find here: https://www.domestically-speaking.com/2012/02/bamboo-sunburst-mirror.html
Thanks for sharing. Love the hooks. I went and ordered some from Rockler after I read this. I’ve been needing to add hooks in the guest room and bath.
Hope you scored a great deal too Shanade!
The hooks are great – and so are those hydrangeas in a bucket!
