My Curb-Side Buffet
I’ve been desperately wanting a buffet, sideboard or hutch to place in our living/dining room. Something to display some pretties on. I’ve been searching garage sales and Craigslist…but I hadn’t found anything until…. one Saturday a few weeks back after a visit at my parents I found this… she was sitting curb-side with a “free” sign (my favorite)… the remains of a garage sale earlier.
Ok, it wasn’t covered with garage junk (BOY do I need to organize the garage!) ~ don’t you love how certain areas become dumping grounds!

Don’t you just LOVE how the sides lift up! I will definitely use those when family and friends are visiting. You can see that I’m sanding this baby down.

She has lovely curves and lines, structurally in great shape, drawer works perfectly and she was FREE!!!
Any guess what color she’s going to be painted???
Stay tuned… if the weatherman is right & it starts to cool tomorrow I can finish painting her. It was over 100 yesterday!
