Sweet Dreams Burlap & Velvet Pillows

If you’ve been with me over the last few months you know that I’ve been working on our master bedroom. Our bed was just begging for some pillows. So here’s my 1st round of pillows…
Love the contrast of the smooth, silky velvet and the rough texture of the burlap.
I printed “Sweet Dreams” onto the burlap.
The beautiful, espresso brown velvet edge is the pull-backs from the velvet panels in the room. (I love using every piece of scrap fabric.)
I’m no sewing expert, but I’m pretty pleased with how they turned out. This is my second project on our Christmas present sewing machine & I’ve got a few more pillows in the works.

Yes, they are wonderful pillows. I too am wondering how to print on the burlap. We anxiously await instructions 🙂

I love the pillows Maryann and I really love the bedspread! Is that Anthropology? My daughter just bought one like it only it was off white. I love it!
