Making a Christmas Wish Come True

Thanks for Sharing!

This post is sponsored by Aflac. I was compensated for writing it, but all opinions are 100% mine.  The Christmas season is filled with exciting, fun and magical moments, but it can also be a hard time for some.  Whether it’s financial stress caused from an illness or an accident that’s happened, sometimes those unexpected hardships make those Christmas wishes harder to happen.

So when Aflac gave me the opportunity to help make someone’s wish come true I was thrilled to be a part of blessing someone else.

My friend Lena is from Denmark.  She’s married to a good friend of my husband and mine that we’ve known since high school.  I knew Lena has been desiring to visit home, but that’s been a challenge lately.  Her husband has had some health issues over the past years which has impacted their finances and made the dream of getting to visit home with her son difficult.  So I was thrilled to be able to surprise her with an early Christmas gift!

It was so much fun to watch her open her gift.

So this next year Lena and their 4-year-old son will be flying to Denmark to visit her family.  I was so thrilled to be a part of making this Christmas wish come true.
