Burlap and Baseball Holdback…

Thanks for Sharing!

At last week’s PoPP I shared with you guys my son’s dresser…

Well, a few of you asked me about his curtains and his baseball curtain holdback… so I thought I’d give you the low-down.

I shared about his Ikea curtains with some added burlap flare last fall.  This is a really simple upgrade to make on basic store bought curtains.  I found my burlap at Wal-Mart and cut it to the size I wanted… then I just hot glued it down… simple!

I added some fraying at the top of the curtains by just pulling out one string at a time till I got the look I wanted.

Just make sure you have your burlap glued down 1st…. love the fray!

To make his baseball curtain holdbacks  I took a simple holdback…

I think I got it at Target… and a rubber baseball from Dollar Tree.

I drilled a hole in the ball so it could slide the ball onto the holdback (you probably could use a knife… JUST BE CAREFUL!!!)…

and you’ve got a cute baseball curtain holdback!

Burlap & baseball…

all American boy!
