Princess Dresser

Thanks for Sharing!

I’ve got my youngest daughter’s new-to-her princess dresser to show you today.  Here’s her dresser in her creamy white state now…

Princess Dresser Makeover

but this is what she use to look like…

Laminate Dresser before paint

A worn-out, laminate drab dresser.  My brother-in-law gave it to us (thanks Matt).

Enter the power of paint and with a few hours, she was transformed into a Princess Dresser.

Dresser Details

I love the details on the legs and the scrolls and trim on the drawers.

They really pop when painted white.Pretty white dresser with pink knobs.

I used Valspar’s gloss spray paint in Tulip Pink for the knobs (the littlest princess picked the color).

Later this week I’ll share all the details on how I paint laminate and the paint I used on the dresser.

What type of white paint do you recommend for a laminate desk after priming with the Zinsser Bull’s eye Primer?

I love how creamy the paint on the dresser looks, and the pink pulls are a nice pop of color; however, I’m not a fan of putting two knobs where one double pull handle should go. I’m not sure of the terminology, but you probably know what I mean.
