Thanks for Sharing!

I’m so excited to be able to share my tree with you finally!  I received my tree about a month ago and it’s been up for weeks.  I kept flip-flopping about how I wanted to decorate this year, but I finally decided to go with a Rustic Luxe theme.

Make sure to check out Carmel from Our Fifth House (my fellow blogger today) along with all the other lovely ladies below… their trees are gorgeous!

When my gorgeous Balsam Hill Noble Fir arrived I was immediately struck by how real it looks.  We’ve had artificial trees, but I’ve never been impressed by how they looked.  This tree is stunning!

I decided to use of mix of golds, bronze, gleaming whites and lots of pinecones on our tree.  Many of the gold, bronze and white glass ornaments are from Balsam Hills.

I added some gold snowflakes, bronze spray painted pinecones and epsom salt pinecones too.

Some gorgeous shimmery gold and brown velvet ribbon helped to tie it all together.

Our Mittens loves the tree.  She loves to nestle herself between the gold and brown paper packages wrapped under the tree.

Isn’t she cute!!!

This is such an old post I gone you get this comment! After waiting four years we FINALLY bought our Balsam Hill tree today. It’s a 12 ft narrow Balsam Fir. We have a log home and I love this natural rustic look so much! It is completely my style. Do you remember on the Balsam Hill sight which set of ornaments you went with? I’d like to order them or something simular but can’t easily make out in the picture the sizes of the ornaments you went with. Thanks in advance!

    1. Hi Angela,
I checked out Balsam Hills site and it doesn’t look like they carry the set that I have. It’s been quite a few years ago now, so they have probably updated with newer sets. Sorry!

  3. Thanks for stopping by and your tree is just stunning! My trash trees are feeling very lonely with all of the pretty new trees out there these days 😉

  4. Hi, I was searching the other day for a particular item, and I stumbled upon a blog that showed 2 ingredients for snow to use on card stock. Could it possibly be one of your blogs? It is driving me crazy not able to find now. It is using glue and another simple ingredient which I cannot recall now. Thanks if you have this info.

  9. Beautiful, Maryann! It goes so well with the room and has such a cozy feel. Mittens is a great model….my cat would rather bat the ornaments than pose by the tree. Lol! Happy holidays!

    1. Thanks Kim 🙂 Last year we didn’t hang ornaments on the bottom 1/3 of the tree because she was still in crazy-kitten-mode… thankfully this year she seems to have calmed down. Have a wonderful Christmas!

  10. Love it!! and I especially love the kitty under the tree! When I used to have full sized Christmas trees, my cats were ALWAYS sleeping under the tree.
