Vintage Christmas Wonderland Cloche

Thanks for Sharing!

It’s thrift store makeover time again and this month I’m sharing a Vintage Christmas Wonderland Cloche. I came across this cloche at my local thrift store for $1. It had no base to it, but I thought a wood slice would look great with it. Add some snow, a cute little Christmas tree, and a vintage red truck and you’ve got an instant Christmas wonderland.

Vintage Christmas Cloche Supplies:

Here’s the thrift store cloche I started with.

I think I spent more time cleaning this dusty cloche then it took to put this wonderland together.

Make sure you find a wood slice that is larger than the base of your cloche. Mine was a couple of inches wider.

Wood Slice, Snow, Red Vintage Truck and a Bottle Brush Tree.

I started by laying the snow blanket out and using the cloche as a template to trace the circle. I used a Sharpie pen. Then I used sewing scissors to cut out the snow blanket.

Then I placed the cut snowy blanket in the center of the wood slice. Then I placed the red truck and bottle-brushed tree where I like them.

So simple! Just the type of decorating I love this time of year! I hope you love my Vintage Christmas Wonderland Cloche too.
