Hi Friends!  I have a fun project that was so easy to do.  I recently made a fun update on my oldest daughter's bookshelf.  She has a beach/surfer girl bedroom, so this was the perfect update.

To create this cute addition to her bookshelf I used Shape Tape.  This great tape is from FrogTape®.

I started by removing the backing of the Shape Tape™ ~ which peeled off very easily.

And attached it to the front edge of the bookshelf.  Then I ran my fingers over it making sure it adhered to the surface.

I used two coats of white acylic paint.  I love how quick acylic paint dries! I let it dry 10 minutes between coats.

Then came the fun reveal!  I let it dry about 10 minutes before peeling off the Shape Tape™

Some cute surfer girl waves!

FrogTape® Shape Tape™ has PaintBlock® Technology so that you get a great crisp edge… creating perfect waves.  Here's an awesome video that shows just some of the great projects you could make…

FrogTape® Shape Tape™ comes in Chevron, Wave and Scallop.  I used Scallop to create this cute look.  I love how easy FrogTape® Shape Tape™ was to use and the perfect results I got with it.  This great bookshelf update took 30 minutes from start to finish… can't beat that!

  1. I have been wanting this Shape Tape since I first saw it a few weeks ago…now you have made it even more of a MUST HAVE. I love what you did with your daughter’s shelves. I have a bookshelf in my dining room that I need to redo…I think I’ll be buying some Shape Tape.

  2. I recently used the Chevron tape to paint a cute little table. I loved the way it came out. Your book case looks great. I think I’ll have to try the wave pattern next time.
