Easy Girl’s Bow Holder and I WON!
If you’ve been around my blog for a while you know that I love making hair bows for my girls…. in the next few days I’ll post a Valentine’s Day hair bow… once my creative brain comes up with an idea… come on brain!
So… I thought I’d show you a very easy hair bow holder you can create.
I bought the wooden letter at either Wal-Mart or Michael’s… it’s been a few years… I know both carry them though.
Cover the letter in acrylic paint, in the color of your choice. I kept mine solid colored, but you could easily paint stripes or polka-dots. Then just staple the ribbon to the back of the wooden letter. I used a staple gun, but I’m sure hammering a thick staple in would work too.
The wooden letters I purchased had a notch in the back, so they were simple to hang.
Another cute option would be to decoupage some cute scrapbook paper on your wooden letter. These are letters from my youngest daughter’s room. I painted them first and then just used Mod-Podge to adhere the paper to the letters.
So… I won this so cute burlap crown pillow!
Jane at Finding Fabulous hosts a Frugalicious Friday party! This party is a place to share and partake in all “your fabulous, thriftiest, most frugalicious home decor finds!” I love a bargain… so you know I love this party! Last week Trixie from Flea Market Trixie supply this fab pillow.
Thank you so much Jane and Trixie!
I wish I had a little girl to make bows for. Yours are so pretty. My little granddaughter is not a bow wearer. lol. Glad to see you at junklbossoms! Have a great weekend. Pat.
